Speech and Debate awesomeness

YAY! I was looking through Forensic pictures of this past year and basically it's me, me and Elliot, and me and Erika. I have no idea which order they're in, but that's what they are. The one of me is at state quals, the one of me and Elliot is going through extemp mags at practice and the one of me and Erika is at speech showcase. :D Did I mention I am now a very happy speech judge!!! :D YAY!

Martial Arts, Speech and Debate, and of course...LIFE!!!

Hey Ya'll!

I trust life is joyful for you, I can say for the most part it is for me. Actually, lately I've really been into the whole 'life's road' thing. It's kinda cool. :) Allow me to elaborate:

"It's a new road I travel on,
It's a new life I make my own,
It's a new time, a new world, a new beginning,
and I can make it all my own."

then...

"Down a dusty road,
To embrace my fate.
Though the road may wander,

Also, I tested for yellow belt at Martial Arts today. Wohoo Meechy! Austin and Louie tested as well, and it was pretty fun. HAHA! oh right, forgot about that part..yea, it was fun. :D

I am also *drum roll... JUDGING MY FIRST TOURNAMENT ON SATURDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm super super super excited about that. It's the KAmiak novice tournament, and I get 8 NFL points for it and the experience and awesome times. I'll be the judge for people older than me, but since I'm in open and they're all newbies...ah...it'll ROCK! YES!!!!!!! I know already I'm going to LOVE judging. :D

PRAYER REQUEST

Today we were at the Everett Clinic 40 days for life site for our hour. About half-way through this girl came out, she must have been early twenties I'd say, and she engaged our sidewalk counselor. She was (is, hopefully) 3 months pregnant, and neither she nor her boyfriend wanted the abortion. She hadn't had it yet, and she was scared. She wanted 5 children, but they just didn't have the money right now. She was very friendly but obviously scared, and I'm so sorry we didn't get her name. She walked away for something to eat then came back and went back into the clinic but she was still very friendly. Her appointment was today, and we had to leave before we found out whether or not she had the abortion. I really really hope she just went back inside to talk to her boyfriend, but I just haven't been able to stop thinking about her all day. Please pray for her and her child whom she hopefully decided to keep very hard. I know you all have been praying for the success of the 40 days, but I just can't get her out of my mind. It's so agonizing not knowing if she kept her appointment or not.

Hey All!

You know, if all those people who vote in my poll commented, I would be very happy.

Let's see, an update of my life:
Speech and debate: We're having a car wash tomorrow. No comment. My DI is awesome, I love it. We have many new members, it's awesome. My first tournament isn't until November so I'm very sad about that.
Stuff: I am taking a Chemistry class from a lady named "Frog" I am not kidding. The labs are really fun, and I have awesome lab partners. I also learned the other day that the 'older kid' book is a college-level textbook, meaning all the mathematical problems I've been doing are at the college-level. Needless to say, that made me feel really good.
Martial Arts: Louie and I are finally ready to test for our Yellow belts on Tuesday, so a little prayer that we do our best would be VERY appreciated. I'm rather excited and not nervous (yet).
I can't really think of much else, life is good.

Dear Peoples...

God works in mysterious ways. Let me exemplify: One of my favorite pen-pals hadn't emailed me in a while and I was about ready to give up on them, in fact I was all set to write them off of my list when BOOM! They suddenly correspodned with me. So I say God rocks and I absolutely love him. I mean, I loved him before, but it's the little moments in life when he really just shows his love and care. :)

Anyways, after that inspirational message...
I'm just letting you all know that basically I'm cool and Speech and Debate is kicking off. *SIGH. Ali and Elliot and I have some great meetings. :)Erika and Elliot have a wonderful Duo which I've heard is very moving. My DI is coming along, Ali has his Oratory, and the new kid Alex has lots of promise. Also, Ali's sister is joining and Benj (the class clown) apparently is getting serious about persuing LD, which would be awesome. :)
