Well...I had my first piano lesson today in about a year, it was actually pretty fun!
My instructor (warren) I think will work very well for me, and I'm looking forward to building back up to the level I was. Also, I'm INSANELY happy to say that as I write dear readers, Kate and Ian and Dawna are competeing at NATIONALS!! Oh my gosh that's awesome. :) I stumbled onto a random blog when I hit the 'next blog' button at the top of the page and found www.mustardseeds07.blogspot.com and the author happens to be in a Texas Speech and deabte league, and if you don't know already, Texans take their debate very seriously. Kind of like football, I'm told. So I was very happy about that. :)
Let's see...what else is new? I got a hair cut, and lots of people like it, including me! The photoshoot was awesome, and I had a blast meeting Lauren. I now have 20 pen-pals, so I think I'll call it quits for a while on getting any new ones. ;)
Louie and dad are gone rafting with Luke in Oregon and they don't have any cell phone reception so that makes life interesting! We're painting my room this week while they're gone...hehe. It's going to be a nice ilght green.
I know I promised Chastity book reviews, they are a-coming! I need to collect them all from the bowels of who knows where then remember the points about them. So I'll have that soon. :)
Well..I love you all and I hope to see you soon!

I'm so happy!

Dear Everyone (who actually reads this,

It is my wonderful news which brings me again to these places which I seldom frequent. I won the Truegirl (www.truegirlonline.net) cover girl contest! I'm flying out to the photoshoot in Illinois at the beginning of June, so I'll keep you guys posted on that, but basically I'm realy happy/excited about that! The first of my highschool goals FULFILLED! Just for the record, the other ones are in my (updated) profile. Check them out! Do you guys have any goals? If so, COMMENT WITH THEM. I love having goals! They rock! :D
Also, I guess that's it...I have more new pen-pals, bringing my total up to about 15 or so...;) Wahoo! Oh, I also found this RAD site...it totally rocks...but I wouldn't quite go so far as to make it a 'worthwhile site pick'. www.chocolateshow.com what an idea! YUM! ;P.
Well.......until my next post...I love you all!
Love,
Chelly

It's been a while......

Hey ya'll. I know I told Deirdre I would post on Tuesday, but life has been busy, so I didn't. Here's a general report of my life, because I never seem to be able to talk about anything but myself.
Speech and Debate has been quite fun, we're in the middle of our fundrasier, 'flamingo flocking' it's so fun! But I don't feel like explaining it.
I've expanded my e-pal list considerably. I have Rachel in Florida, Monica in Alberta, Grace in Arkansas, Lauren in New York, Kat and Lenore in in Iowa, Emma in Hawaii, Emily in Illinois and Franny and Theresa in California. I love them all so much...it's awesome having all those friends! (Oh, Louie just dialed the rejection hotline...:D:D:D:D:D) Speaking of which there's www.rejectionhotline.com I haven't checked it out...but I invite you to!
Metalworking has been super fun! I've made a copper spiral ring, a silver ring with a peach moonstone setting, another copper spiral ring but this one is melted to a beautiful rich red. I don't remember the technical term, but it's gorgeous. :D I also made a copper spiral necklace which matches the red ring. I love metalworking so much! :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D (yea)
Louie is begging me to go play basketball...so I'll have to make this brief!
My truegirl essay is almost finished...the letter of recomindation has been sent in, the pictures are sitting on my desk, and I'm SO EXCITED!!!!!! Holy Smokes. Yea.
'My time in California' 2 was quite fun, even though the weather didn't like me down there. Let's see..where was I?! hmmmm
I'm sorry...I'm pretty spacy right now because I need ot finish to go play with Louie and OH YEA! I went to Fr. Daniel's 25th anniversary jubilee and I saw someone that I haven't seen in like 4 or 5 years. It was INCREDIBLE. I saw him/her walk into the parish hall and I kind of looked over the person I was talking to and my jaw dropped. I was so extatic! OH MY GOSH IT WAS SO COOL!!!!!!!! (and no, it wasn't the ice cream man...)
I suppose I should go now...I hope you guys have a wonderful Easter season and I'll try to at least post twice a month from now on :P
loveya!

Life.....

Well, nothing too utterly amazing has happened, aside from my discovering plutonium in our backyard...
I'm still chugging with Speech and Debate, although the Debate part is yet to come, much to the distress and annoyance of my fellow S&Ders. ____ is still a huge annoyance, although most of the time I can handle him, just ignore or treat naturally. I have two new e-pals, Rachel in Florida, and Monica in Alberta, they're awesome and I really enjoy getting to know them. I went to the Mardi Gras dance and Adele and I were the ONLY ONES there from the homeschool people, not cool, we were bored. I'm a Truegirl teen editor, for those of you who haven't checked my sidebar, DO IT. It's a Catholic girl's magazine which focuses on, "Faith, Life and Fashion" and I'm also applying to be a cover girl for them. If I make it, mom and I will fly out there this summer for the photo shoot...I'm really excited about that :D:D:D:D:D
Um where was I? Oh yes...
I'm entering in 3 or 4 writing contests, one for the PUD, two for the Edmonds Arts Commission, short story and poetry, I told Kate about it because I know she would win the poetry, she's really good at that. I'm also writing reviews for Truegirl, and I have to write an essay for the cover model application about why I'm a truegirl. We went to see Bridge to Teribitha the other day, the really snowy day, and I absolutely loved it. It was so cool to come out into all the snow, it was dark and there was snow on the roads, bushes, everywhere, plus it was falling quite hard and steadily.
I wish all of you the best of Lent, and I'll try to be more diligent about checking the comments, now that I am assured of your faithfulness ;)
