Happy Advent! plus yesterday

Yesterday was pretty fun, if I do say so myself. It started with homemade Candied Ginger Gingerbread which was delicious. Then I cleaned the church for four hours while Louie had server training. Jesson was setting up Advent decoration and I successfully disposed of two more parishoners, human or otherwise. After that the servers ushered me back to the conference room for their leftover pizza. Mom then took me home, where I indeed got to carry out my dire threat,"DEATH TO BUTTERFLIES" I have the first coat of primer but those ___ things will need about 3 or 4. I'll paint some more today. I then got to babysitt these two boys. One is partially deaf so that was super fun. I got to learn the colors and the word,"jaw" in sign language and I'm sure I'll learn a bunch more from them. They live super close, too. I am about to put on the 3rd coat of primer over those unnamed butterflies. They just don't want to disappear! Humph. I think about most of you a ton and the rest of you occasionally flit through my preoccupied mind.

May you all have a very peaceful and fruitful Advent!

Thanks Michelle! I have finally found your other blog. Yes! Sounds like you had a pretty nice day. I don't think my day was as good as yours, but it was nice. I mean, it's the start of Advent! I love this time of the year....*sigh* =D Well, God bless you, and I think about you a lot!

Hooray for the soon-to-be-gone butterflies! I'm glad you had fun cleaning and hanging out at Blessed Sacrament. I haven't been there in a while. Send my love to Jesson sometime. :) God bless you and see you around!

I love ya!

in all actuality, they'll need like 5 or 6 coats. *sigh* At least I'm using low-toxic primer.

You said "tons" and "super" like 75,000,000,000,000 times.

Guys. Don't talk about Bl. Sac. in my presence. I miss that place soo much. Why can't there be a really good church with a really good homilies and music that's not two octaves lower than it should be down here? *sniff* can't wait to visit there...
Happy Advent. It's hard to believe Christmas is so close when it's warm enough to walk to tennis in a cap-sleeved shirt and capris. Christmas in July!

Rabic, I used the word, "super" two times and the word "tons" once.

Sheila, you'll be here before you know it! ...that's not true, and I'm sorry, but you will be here when God wills it, and that is a consoling thought, is it not? I love you, Sheila. :)
Wow! I sort of wish that I could see the sun shining brightly right now, but it is dark, and pretty dang cold so...I can't wait to visit you Bernhofts! Whenever that may be. :) Happy Feast of St. Ambrose! And a very happy day to my child, Mary Amber, who is now one years old!
